Community of Practice

Campus stakeholders, including project staff and some of the participants in the initial CBI, will engage in an online Community of Practice to discuss barriers and solutions for increasing the recruitment, retention, and persistence of engineering students from underrepresented populations and foster synergy toward reaching the project goal and objectives.

The CoP paradigm comes from the field of knowledge management; CoP members are practitioners who share expertise and resources to help each other improve practices.

The CoP was developed by Disabilities, Opportunities, Internetworking, and Technology, or DO-IT, directed by Dr. Sheryl Burgstahler.
