Applying for and securing funding

The following resources assist faculty in applying for and securing funding from the federal government, industry, and the Dean's Office.

A list of federal funding opportunities and resources to assist with NSF grant proposals—including:

Private foundation research funding, including a list of foundations that have funded faculty and projects in recent years and information on UW procedures and foundation priorities, award recipients, and deadlines.

The SRI program builds interdisciplinary collaborations and focuses on innovation leadership in our Strategic Research Areas.

The SII program provides awards of approximately $25,000 per year for up to two years to implement innovative educational ideas.

This initiative provides a mechanism to connect departments with industry partners as sponsors for student capstone teams and expands on existing programs in engineering departments.
