Learning Communities

Due to reduced staffing, we are currently unable to offer faculty workshops, learning communities or in-class presentations. This page is archived for informational purposes.

ET&L facilitates learning communities to provide UW engineering educators with regular opportunities to meet and explore topics of common interest relevant to teaching and learning. Learning communities typically run for at least one quarter and meet weekly during the middle eight weeks of the quarter, to accommodate the busier first and last weeks of instruction. If you are an engineering educator (faculty, staff, or graduate student) with a topic of interest, we encourage you to contact ET&L to discuss the possibility of establishing a learning community.

The campus-wide Center for Teaching & Learning also offers learning communities each quarter. Please see their website for current details.
