Engineering Discovery Days

At Engineering Discovery Days, students and faculty from all UW engineering departments share their work with students, teachers, families and the community.

This free, two-day event is designed for 4th through 8th-grade students and features hands-on activities that showcase the exciting work of engineers. The event will be held at multiple locations across the University of Washington, Seattle campus.

Discovery Days in action

Watch event participants try out fun engineering concepts at Discovery Days. Exhibits from across the College of Engineering include making ice cream, creating colorful earrings from titanium metal, building a mini edible bridge, and seeing demonstrations of drones, robots, cars, trucks and aircraft.
