Academic support

EAC programs occur during the 9-month academic year (autumn, winter and spring). Though scheduling links and calendars are inactive during an academic break, university holidays, or over the summer, you can learn about our services and meet our tutors.

Academic support schedule

The EAC offers in-person academic support starting the second week of the quarter through the last week of classes. Tutors host guided study groups for specific courses and hold office hours in the new IEB location.

During office hours, EAC tutors provide drop-in support for the range of courses listed on the Meet the EAC tutors page. Guided study groups are tutor-facilitated and focus on collaborative learning for designated classes, while office hours retain a flexible, drop-in model for broader topic assistance. EAC instructors also host office hours for their weekly workshop classes.

Check below to see our study group offerings.
