Engineering Discovery Days
After thoughtful consideration of our community and in accordance with public health guidelines we have decided to cancel Discovery Days scheduled for April 23 and 24. The evolution of COVID-19 coupled with caution for the health and wellness of our community led us to take this preventative action and avoid non-essential large gatherings.
While we are disappointed in this outcome, we strongly feel it is in the best interest of all involved. Discovery Days will not be rescheduled this year but we look forward to continuing our over 100 year tradition with Discovery Days 2021. This decision was not made lightly and the College remains committed to community outreach. Please contact email@example.com if you have any questions or concerns about this cancellation. Thank you for your understanding during this challenging time.
At Engineering Discovery Days, students and faculty from all UW engineering departments share their work with students, teachers, families and the community. Both days are oriented toward 4th through 8th grade students and feature hands-on activities that demonstrate the exciting work of engineers.
We hope you will join us for hands-on fun and learning. The two-day event is free and open to everyone.
Registration is required for all who plan to participate. Space is limited; registration will close when we reach capacity.
All school groups and those arriving by school/chartered bus are required to wear event wristbands. These will be mailed to the school address provided in your registration in advance of the event.
Subscribe to our email list for Discovery Day updates.
Exhibitors, see Resources for Exhibitors for details on registering for space, deadlines, and requirements.
