Receive academic support and hone the skills you need to succeed in introductory math, physics or chemistry courses.

Chemistry Study Center
Teaching Assistants support introductory chemistry courses in a collaborative space where students typically sit together by the course they need help with.

Math Study Center
A comfortable place and a supportive atmosphere for group or individual study. Tutors (grad student Teaching Assistants and advanced undergrads) will sit down and answer questions.

Physics Study Center
A place for students to work cooperatively on Physics problems. TAs circulate from table to table to help groups stuck on an issue, then move on.

Statistics Tutor & Study Center
Drop-in tutoring for all students enrolled in UW introductory statistics courses. Many faculty and TAs also hold office hours in the center.

Reporting an incident of discrimination, harassment or sexual misconduct
If you or someone you know has experienced or becomes aware of possible discrimination, harassment or sexual misconduct, you are encouraged to make a Civil Rights & Title IX Report. Work study
Work Study is a great way to help pay for your education while gaining invaluable experience by working part-time. By participating in the Work Study Program you will learn work skills that are transferable to future career paths. The Federal and State Work Study Programs give you the opportunity to work part-time while going to school.
Emergency aid
Emergency Aid funding assists UW students by providing financial support when assistance is needed with unexpected, unavoidable, and unplanned expenses surrounding situations such as accidents, illness, fire/water damage, or a need for emergency housing and food.
