Give to Engineering and Make an Impact

UW College of Engineering students, faculty and researchers tackle new problems and seek to transform our lives through innovation every day. Whether it’s responding to the need for new energy sources or meeting the demand for creative approaches to health care delivery, we are on the cutting edge.

You too can be a partner in the amazing work that’s being done here—as we educate the next generation of engineers and find solutions to today’s problems. By supporting UW College of Engineering with a gift, you can provide a scholarship for a deserving student; attract and retain outstanding faculty; or improve our facilities to support first-class teaching and research.

Learn more about the impact your gift can have, and read stories from people who have experienced first-hand the difference one can make.

What Your Gift Can Do

Even small gifts have major impact. Every gift makes a difference to the quality of the educational and research experience offered at the UW College of Engineering. Since funding from the State of Washington only covers 6% of the cost of an engineering education, we count on our alumni and friends to help support innovative opportunities for learning and research. We depend on private giving and the investment it is making in the future.

People Who Give

Individuals who give to UW Engineering do so for many unique and personal reasons: some want to secure a quality education for future students; others want to “pay back” for the education that contributed to their own success; many want to honor the work of an outstanding faculty member; or see their gift impact the vitality of our region’s business community. Whatever the reason, we are grateful for every gift. Read more about some of our alumni and friends who support engineering in ways that mean the most to them.
