International Student Information
Before you come in for your pre-work appointment, please complete the ISS CPT Request form and obtain your adviser’s signature. Your adviser does not need to write a letter of support; the Co-op staff will take care of that.
During your pre-work meeting, you receive a letter of support which you must deliver to the International Students & Scholars (ISS) office, along with the original CPT request form. The ISS office requests a lead time of one week, so plan ahead; you are not permitted to work until the ISS has completed the authorization process.
Contact ISS with any questions about your immigration status.
