Vipin Kumar with Krishna Nadella

UW Mechanical Engineering alumnus Krishna Nadella (PhD '09, MS '02) is Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of MicroGREEN Polymers. MicroGREEN's technology, which grew out of ME professor Vipin Kumar's Microcellular Plastics Lab at the University of Washington, expands PET plastic by injecting carbon dioxide under high pressure. The process saves resources and reduces material costs without affecting product performance.

Learn more about Nadella and MicroGREEN in this professional produced video commissioned by Russell Investments.
