Cost Efficient and Sustainable Alternatives to Consumable Reagent Containers

Currently, NanoString has multiple consumable containers for bulk reagents ranging in size from 0.1L to 2L that have costs of goods (COGS) that are higher than desired and are not designed for sustainability. NanoString’s design currently consists of a transparent, rigid, sterile bottle with reusable cap assembly and product labeling. This student team worked to source new containers that reduce COGS and waste at NanoString’s consumers' sites.
