Meeting activities will be held at the Red Lion Hotel on Fifth Avenue (formerly the WestCoast Grand). Guest rooms at discounted rates are reserved for participants. To reserve a room, please contact the hotel directly by telephone, mail, or fax. Please identify yourself as a ITS meeting registrant when making your reservation. To guarantee special room rates, reserve your room prior to August 6. Rates listed are subject to additional state and local taxes totaling approximately 15.6%. A limited number of rooms are available at the special rate.

Room Rate: $120 Single or Double

The Red Lion Hotel on Fifth Avenue is located in the heart of downtown Seattle. Stores, restaurants and tourist attractions are located within easy walking distance. A car is not necessary and hotel parking is expensive. All guest rooms have one king or two queen sized beds, two dataport phones with voice mail, in-room movies, coffee makers and a working desk. Other facilities include the Terrace Garden Restaurant, 24-hour room service, fitness center, and gift shop.

TRAVEL

Sea-Tac Airport Transportation Information
The Sea-Tac International Airport is located approximately 20 minutes south of downtown Seattle. The airport services both domestic and international flights. The information below is suggested for transportation between the airport and downtown Seattle.

GrayLine Airport Express Service
The Gray Line Airport Express provides frequent shuttle service to downtown Seattle hotels between 6:00 a.m. and 11:45 p.m. The cost is $8.50 per person one-way. Advance reservations are not necessary. Tickets may be purchased from the service desks located on the baggage claim level of the airport.

Continuous daily service between 4:30 am-11:30 pm
Advance reservations from Sea-Tac Airport not necessary.

Seattle is also served by Greyhound Bus and Amtrak Railroad Service. Participants are urged to contact their local travel offices for current travel schedules and rates. The Amtrak Station is located in downtown Seattle, a short cab or bus ride from the meeting hotel, the WestCoast Grand.

King County governs all taxi pricing. All taxi companies charge the same amount: $1.80 start-up meter fee, $1.80 per mile, .50¢ a minute at stop lights and traffic jams.
