Academic Enhancement

WiSE's Academic Enhancement program is designed to meet the individual needs of undergraduate female engineering students having academic challenges or students who wish to get a head-start on succeeding in their engineering curriculum.

Academic Assistance:

Computer Lab/Engineering Study Center

Students are encouraged to take advantage of study center resources and learning facilitators located in Loew 207, 213, and 215.

NOTE: Students must receive an account from the Engineering Advising & Diversity Center Staff in Loew 301 to utilize the computers located in Loew 207 and 213.

 

Academic Workshops:

Academic Workshops are a one-credit course offered Autumn, Winter, and Spring quarter designed to provide additional academic support for students taking some of the core engineering pre-requisite classes.

Students who wish to take an academic workshop would register for the workshop through your EADC Pre-Engineering Adviser in Loew 301. Students would sign-up for the workshop in conjunction with the full course that they have registered for.

ENGR 202:

ENGR 202 is a one-credit seminar offered Winter and Spring Quarters. The course is open to all pre-engineering students interested in receiving resources and support to succeed in engineering.

Students who wish to take ENGR 202 should register for the workshop through your EADC Pre-Engineering Adviser in Loew 301. Students can register for either Autumn or Winter quarter or take ENGR 202 in both quarters (note, different content is covered each quarter).
