The Department of Mechanical Engineering seeks to honor and recognize Professors Albert Kobayashi and Jim Morrison, who spent their careers benefiting hundreds of students through their teaching and research.

Their legacy will be made permanent by establishing an endowed lectureship in their names. An endowed lectureship will enable the department to recruit leading-edge researchers, academics, and professionals to campus to share ideas and inspire faculty, students, and alumni.

- Save the form to your computer.
- Fill out all applicable fields and save the completed form.
- Submit your story by mail (use address on right) or by email to April Johnson with the following attached:
- The completed Story Submission form
- Photos (optional and much appreciated)
Spread the word.
Tell other alumni and encourage them to participate.
Here's how...
- Contact alumni who were touched by Professors Kobayashi and Morrison to tell them about this opportunity for the department to establish a lectureship.
- Make phone calls, send emails, update your status on Facebook, or Tweet about this opportunity and request alumni to participate.
- Encourage alumni and friends to submit stories about classroom, research, or moments in the labs with these professors. The stories will be collected and presented to each professor at a celebration event at the close of this campaign.
