Loew Hall
Built in 1965 by Bassetti & Company, Loew Hall was designed
in Italian Neo-Liberty style and constructed from brick. The
building was connected by an underground walkway to the Engineering
Library. This joint project was constructed for approximately
$3 million.
Loew Hall contains 140 assignable rooms. Of those 43 are
for the campus-wide Center for Career Services and 23 are
for UW general assignment classrooms.
Loew Hall also serves as the center of operations for the
Dean's Office of the College of Engineering. The Dean's
Office, in addition to its other functions, directs a
number of special student engineering programs. Those located
in Loew Hall are the Mathematics
Engineering Science Achievement (MESA) Program, the Cooperative
Education (CO-OP), and the Minority
Science and Engineering Program (MSEP),
