Tours
Sample Seattle A Deluxe City Tour

Cost: $30.00/person
Saturday, August 11
Come sample Seattle. This tour provides an overview of the many attractions Seattle offers its visitors. We'll drive along the waterfront with its import shops and fresh seafood restaurants, into historic Pioneer Square. This area, one of Seattle's oldest, features early 1900's architecture, much of which has been renovated into wonderful art galleries and specialty shops. Next is our International District, the third largest on the West Coast. Evidence of the Pacific Rim cultural influence abounds here; even the street lights have an Asian style. We will continue along Lake Washington to the University of Washington campus.

Continuing on, you will stop at Hiram Chittenden Locks and Salmon Ladder. The locks are an engineering feat which connect saltwater Puget Sound with freshwater Lake Union. The salmon ladder features the seasonal migration of salmon returning to their parent streams to spawn. Next, travel to Magnolia Bluff where the view of Puget Sound is breathtaking. This precedes your last stop, the world famous Pike Place Farmers Market. Vendors from all around our region come to the market to showcase their wares. You'll have the opportunity to browse for that perfect souvenir of your trip to the Emerald City. (3 hours +)

Breakfast at the Space Needle
Cost: $50.00/person
Sunday, August 12
(Included in the Special Guest Program fee.)
The Space Needle was the dominant central structure built for the 1962 Seattle World's Fair. As soon as you arrive at the Space Needle, you will know that you are in for a special treat. With the Northwest at your feet and a view that is one of the most magnificent in the world, you will dine on a delicious breakfast. While enjoying your breakfast, the dining room rotates to provide a 360 degree view of Seattle, Lake Washington, Lake Union, Puget Sound, Mount Rainier, and the Cascade and Olympic Mountain ranges. During the morning, you will also have the opportunity to tour the observation deck located atop this world famous structure.

Ride the Ducks
Cost: $50.00/person
Monday, August 13
Many a World War II soldier rode to shore aboard ducks (DUKW) amphibious vehicles. This popular tour of Seattle is by land and by sea in these historic landing craft. The Duck will pick you up at the Washington State Convention and Trade Center and then tour you around downtown Seattle, Pike Place Market, Pioneer Square, along the harbor, funky Fremont District, and thensplash into Lake Union where you'll tour Portage Bay and see Seattle's lovely houseboats! The Coast Guard certified captains will entertain you and show you all the wonderful sites of Seattle! (2 hours)
