Dr. Klastorin joined UW in 1974 and specializes in project management, supply chain management (including inventory, logistics, and scheduling of goods and services), service operations (including waiting lines and location issues). His current research is in coordination mechanisms in decentralized supply chains, resource allocation in uncertain and highly risky projects, and; the impact of random shocks on production and service systems.

Christina Mastrangelo, Associate Professor, Industrial Engineering
Dr. Mastrangelo joined UW in 2002, and specializes in quality engineering, data mining and empirical stochastic modeling. Her research interests include the areas of multivariate process monitoring and control, multi-response models, operational modeling for semiconductor manufacturing and systems modeling for infectious disease control.

Ed Rice, Associate Professor of Finance and Business Economics and Faculty Director of the E-Business Program
Dr. Rice joined the University of Washington in 1979, and specializes in corporate control, general corporate finance, applied microeconomics, and e-business. His current research focuses on correcting biases in discount rates used for capital budgeting, interpreting the drivers of stock price changes when events affect shareholders differently, and determining the effect of uninformed noise traders on stock price volatility.
