2009 International Conference on Fatigue Management
in Transportation Operations: A Framework for Progress

This conference, hosted by the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Human Factors Coordinating Committee under its Operator Fatigue Management Program, is a continuation of the Fatigue in Transportation conference series that last took place in Seattle, Washington in 2005. The objective of the conference is to disseminate information on the latest fatigue-related research, technology, and countermeasures. The program will consider the topic holistically, transitioning from research and development to technical and practical sessions. The conference is designed to address the interests of researchers, practitioners, managers, labor organizations and operators involved in all modes of transportation from around the world.
