Air Bag Systems

For mechanics and repair technicians servicing vehicles with air bags (Inflatable Passive Restraint Systems), it's crucial to understand the components of the air bag system and the proper safety procedures for working with them. Instructor

Bill Redpath of Energy Transfer Technology has been training automotive technicians in diagnostic and repair programs for over 20 years. His programs have provided comprehensive training in fuel and ignition systems, engine management systems, electrical systems and electronics, hydraulic brakes, air brakes, anti-lock brake systems, supplemental restraint systems, air conditioning and power train controls. He has written and delivered training programs for many organizations including Departments of Transportation in eight states, the U.S. Air Force, Royalite Oil Company, Ford Canada and Volkswagen Canada. Bill has been an invited speaker at many conferences and association meetings and has had numerous articles published in automotive magazines. Committed to staying current on automotive issues, Bill consistently attends training programs and conferences and updates the content of his courses.
