The Institute of Biological Engineering (IBE), has chosen the theme: "Biological Engineering -- Leading the Third Millennium" for its 2000 annual conference to underscore the importance of the Biological Engineering discipline and exciting opportunities for students in this emerging profession.
The IBE conference begins with a full day of activities October 11 and continues with a field trip on October 12 and joint sessions with BMES on October 13. A one-day registration fee for IBE allows BMES members to participate in IBE activities at a nominal cost.
