Useful Forms
- For each EDGE class you teach, one month prior to the quarter, please complete the Instructor Information Sheet and send it to the EDGE office at Box: 358725.

EDGE Quarterly Enrollments
- The instructor of record for each EDGE course can see enrollment information through MyUW by clicking on the Teaching tab. The most current information will be found in the UW Educational Outreach Teaching Schedule. To activate this in MyUW, navigate to the Teaching tab and click on “Change Content” on the upper right of the page. On the next page, click the "Browse and Choose" button to reach "Choose the Content on the Teaching Page." On "Choose the Content on the Teaching Page," check the box next to "UW Educational Outreach Teaching Schedule." Then click “Save Changes.” Once you have taken this step, you will see all future EDGE courses that you have been assigned to teach.
Course Rosters
- Both the 1st and 10th day EDGE quarter course rosters will be provided to the department and faculty.
Room Assignments
- Time Schedule, departments and instructors will be notified of the classroom schedule as soon as available, before the beginning of each quarter.
Course Web Pages
- We have created web sites for all courses, including places for general course information, handouts, assignments, discussion boards, and streaming video. See Class Materials and select your course. If you would like to post files or make corrections, please send them to EDGEweb .
- Please make announcements in your class as you post new material so students know where they are located.
- If you have your own course web page, please post a link to the streaming video page that has already been created on our site, AND send the url of your page to EDGEweb so they can make appropriate changes.
Passwords
- EDGE will provide password protection for all course materials. The username will be the course number and you will be provided a password. The password is activated the third week of each quarter.
- If you have a password preference, or if you would rather not protect your course materials, email EDGEweb.
Course Cancellation Policy
- Courses with fewer than 5 EDGE students enrolled one week before the beginning of the quarter may be subject to cancellation from the EDGE schedule. Exceptions may be made at the discretion of the program director, in consultation with the instructor and designated department contact.
Instructor Information -
Please submit this form one month before the start of class if you are schedule to teach an EDGE course.
Exam Notification -
Use this form to infrom the EDGE office of upcoming exams. Please provide this infromation two weeks before the exam date so we can coordinate with students and proctors.
Copyright Release - If you have a guest speaker whose presentation will be delivered through EDGE, please print this form, ask the presenter to sign it, and forward it to the EDGE office.
Department Allocation Information
- Allocation to departments for courses taught through EDGE is based on EDGE student enrollment and is distributed as follows:

| 4: | $1,500.00 |
| 5 to 8 students: | $2,000.00 |
| 9: | $2,250.00 |
| 10: | $2,500.00 |
| 11: | $2,750.00 |
| 12: | $3,000.00 |
| 13: | $3,250.00 |
| 14: | $3,500.00 |
| 15: | $3,750.00 |
| 16 or more: | $4,000.00 |
- Independent Study: One half of revenue goes to the department.
- Manufacturing: Core courses are administered separately. Contact Professor Mamidala Ramulu for more information.
- Allocations to departments are made at the end of each quarter.
