UW/EDGE How to Apply
Read the following information carefully for deadline dates and requirements. Please contact the EDGE office with any questions.
Student Status Options:
Students participating through EDGE may choose between three student status options:
MS |
The matriculated student has received full admission to the graduate program and is earning credits toward the Master's Degree. |
GNM |
The Graduate Nonmatriculated student has received admission as a "Graduate Non-Matriculated" (GNM) student. A GNM student is not presently seeking a degree but may apply a maximum of 12 graduate level credits toward degree requirements should he or she be accepted into a graduate program. It is important to note that acceptance as a GNM student does not imply admission to a graduate degree program. |
NM |
"Non-Matriculated" students may enroll in certain courses with the permission of the instructor and the academic department. Prerequisite knowledge needed for the course is required. Credits earned under NM status may not be transferred to a Master's Degree program. See the Non-Matriculated Students section toward the bottom of this page for details on obtaining permission and registering. |
