Diversity
The College of Engineering is dedicated to producing the world’s best engineers. To accomplish that goal we have instituted a number of programs to help maintain a diverse faculty and student body through community outreach and education programs and support services. By providing women and underrepresented minorities with an introduction to the field of engineering we are effectively widening the applicant pool, ensuring that our high standards of admission continue to be met, while gaining the insight and understanding that come from a synthesis of cultural and personal perspectives.
