For Faculty

For faculty members in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, CWD can provide:

Grant-writing - NSF Criterion 2

CWD offers assistance in grant-writing to help meet the broader-impact criterion in NSF grant solicitation. This requirement, known as Criterion 2, assesses a proposal's ability to impact the larger community, including providing opportunities to members of underrepresented groups.

CWD is familiar with the Criterion 2 requirements and can assist in the grant-writing process.

Student Climate Assessment

CWD can assess graduate student climate in research laboratories. Through long-term tracking of graduate students, CWD can provide a PI or advisor feedback on student experiences in the research setting.

Program Evaluation

In addition, CWD can evaluate the success of outreach programs or pilot projrects affecting the larger community, including outreach and professional development related to NSF Criterion 2.
