Student Conduct Policies and Procedures
As a UW engineering student, you are expected to follow these conduct codes:
For each course you take, your instructors will share with you the rules for the class. Those rules are based on the College of Engineering's policies and procedures:
- Academic Misconduct Policy Q&A - Questions and answers on CoE’s academic misconduct policy.
- Academic Misconduct Process - What happens when academic misconduct is suspected.
When instructors suspect student academic misconduct, such as plagiarizing or cheating, they use these resources:
- Agreed Settlement form (formerly called Informal Process form)
- Referral to CEP form (formerly called Formal Process form)
