Scholarship on Teaching Engineering

The Scholarship on Teaching (SoT) element focuses on two main research activity threads: the Studies of Engineering Educator Decisions (SEED) and the Engineering Teaching Portfolio Program (ETPP). The emphasis of SEED is on using a decision-making lens to understand and impact engineering educators' approaches to teaching. The ETPP helps graduate students and post-doctoral fellows increase their preparation for engineering teaching (through program participation) and develop an understanding of how such a program helps participants advance their teaching knowledge and abilities (through research on the program).
