Award Information
The Awards:
- There are nine (9) separate award categories:
- Teaching Assistant Innovator
- Research Assistant Innovator
- Faculty Innovator for Teaching
- Faculty Innovator for Research
- Junior Faculty Innovator*
- Professional Staff Innovator
- Classified Staff Innovator
- Team Innovators
- CoE Mission Award**
- The winner in each category will receive $2000.
*candidates for this award will be chosen from the Faculty Innovator for Teaching and Research nominations.

Please note:
- Team awards of $2000 will be split among the team members
- When nominating a Staff Innovator, you will not have to distinguish between classified/professional - we will take care of that! For both categories, there is only one nomination form.
The Selection Process:
- Once the nomination window closes, committees will review the nominations, choose the top three candidates and recommend these individuals to the dean, who will then make the final decision.
- Winners and nominees will be announced and recognized during the College of Engineering Community of Innovators Event.
