UW College of Engineering Scholarships
The college of engineering offers annual scholarships for pre-engineering and engineering students. If you would like to apply for a scholarship, please review the different options below.

Engineering Advising & Diversity Center Scholarships
For incoming freshmen, transfer students, and pre-engineering students (Note: Emerging Leader Applicants will also be considered):
A variety of scholarships are offered and awarded thoughout the year. In order to be considered for the most scholarship opportunities it is recommended that you apply by the priority submission date, which is January 15, 2008. Applications will be accepted at any time of the year, and will remain active until the following scholarship cycle. Applications may be found here.
Emerging Leaders in Engineering Scholarship:
For incoming freshmen, transfer students and pre-engineering students (Note Engineering Advising & Diversity Center scholarship applicants will also be considered):
This annual competition is for students who have demonstrated leadership potential and who intend to study engineering at the UW. Emerging Leaders scholarships may be renewable for up to four years contingent upon program funding and student maintenance of the program requirements.
Scholarship recipients are selected based on:
- Academic excellence, as evidenced by grade points and test scores, high school senior year curriculum, enrollment in honors, Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate or Running Start courses, enrollment in college and university courses while in high school, academic achievement awards or recognition;
- Leadership potential, as demonstrated by involvement in school, public and community activities and services;
- Educational and long term goals

| Paper Science & Engineering | The PS&E department utilizes a different application.
