Who is considered an "International Student"?
International applicants include anyone living in the U.S. under one of the following visas: F, B, H, J, L, M.
If, however,
- You hold an A, E, I, G, or K visa;
- you are a U.S. refugee or permanent resident; or
- you hold dual U.S. citizenship,
then you should not submit an international student application through the University of Washington. Return to Information for Prospective Undergraduates and select the appropriate category, freshman, transfer, or postbaccalaureate.
