The University of Washington ADVANCE Center for Institutional Change will be hosting its second national summer leadership workshop for science and engineering department chairs. Modeled after the very successful ADVANCE quarterly leadership workshops, this two-day professional development workshop will provide department chairs tools and resources to help them more effectively lead their departments into the future. |

Each participant will receive a single page synthesis of all the family-friendly policies available on his/her home campus with contact information for the person in charge of the policies.

Workshop Registration
The workshop participation fee includes continental breakfast, lunch, and workshop handouts. The number of participants is limited to 50.

Registration Fees:
- $325 for non-UW faculty
- $150 for UW faculty not in the 21 UW ADVANCE departments (click here for a list of ADVANCE dept)
Workshop Handouts
Copies of workshop presentations and handouts will be available prior to the workshop.
