Engineering Professional Programs

Information for Faculty and Staff

The support you need to organize and present your continuing education programs is available to you. Engineering Professional Programs (EPP) is a self-sustaining division of UW Educational Outreach serving the College of Engineering. EPP provides the knowledge, experience, and resources necessary to ensure the professional presentation of short courses, seminars, and conferences.

You can benefit when you take an active role in continuing education:
Short courses and seminars allow you to share your expertise and research with the professional engineering community
In-house training contracts expand your audience to industry and public agencies
Continuing education can provide opportunities to augment your salary and can generate funds for equipment and other departmental needs
Symposia and conferences promote cooperation and exchange among researchers and build regional recognition for you and the College
Workshops and technical meetings provide a forum for introducing new technologies to practitioners and researchers
